What you must not do
By using Alternative Investor you agree NOT to:
- Confirm an investor category, or any other eligibility information, that is not true
- Pass on, republish or forward information from the platform to anyone who has not certified that they are an eligible investor — in particular, retail or ordinary investors
- Use the platform to facilitate any unlawful activity, including fraud, market abuse, money laundering, harassment or defamation
- Present information from the platform as investment advice, a personal recommendation, or a guarantee of return
- Attempt to extract, scrape or reverse-engineer the platform, its content or its underlying AI tooling
- Submit another person’s personal data without a lawful basis
- Probe, scan or test the security of the platform without our written permission
- Interfere with the operation of the platform, other users, or the underlying infrastructure
- Share your access or account with anyone else
Consequences
Breach may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access and, where appropriate, referral to the relevant authorities.
